How To Join!

If you are willing to be a part of a hardworking and dedicated team working to protect the people of Bridgewater 24-7 then we are looking for you!  As a 100% volunteer organization we are always looking for new members to assist us in every way.  There are many different volunteer positions available with BGVFC.

Firefighter - Actively responds to calls and participates in firefighting and rescue operations.  Must be willing to attend training at a fire academy and participate in drills with the fire company.  Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Driver - Sole responsibility to drive fire trucks and operate pumps.  Must attend school and have a clean driving record.  Drivers must be 21 years of age

Junior - Actively responds to calls and participates in limited firefighting duties.  Assists firefighters on scene.  Responds to drills.  Must attend fire school by the time the Junior reaches 18.  Juniors are 17 years old.

Cadet - Actively responds to calls and participates in limited firefighting duties.  Assists firefighters on scene.  Responds to drills.  Cadets are 14-16 years of age.
